The Conversations That Meant the Most

My birthday month turned out to be less about celebrating my birthday and more about celebrating the people who have quietly been part of my journey.

So many meaningful conversations happened behind the scenes.

Conversations over calls. Random messages. Catch-ups that started with a simple “How are you?” and somehow turned into hours of talking about life, dreams, struggles, and everything in between.

And honestly, I treasure these moments.

There is something deeply touching about people taking the extra mile just to check on you. In a world where everyone seems to be busy chasing their own priorities, it means so much when someone pauses and says, “I just wanted to see how you’re doing.”

Sometimes, you don’t realize how much you need those conversations until they happen.

One of our close group discussions was especially nostalgic—and, at the same time, incredibly exciting. We talked about our future plans, reminisced about where we started, and laughed about the things we once dreamed about that are slowly becoming real.

There was this beautiful feeling of looking back while looking forward at the same time.

And then came my one-on-one catch-up calls with each of our business partners.

They may not be involved in the day-to-day operations now, but they have been part of this story from the beginning. Each one has contributed in their own way—with time, effort, trust, encouragement, and belief in what we were trying to build.

I am truly blessed and grateful for that.

What really touched me was hearing them appreciate where we are today.

Nakakakilig.

Because sometimes, when you are in the middle of building something, you become so focused on what still needs to be done that you forget to look back and see how far you’ve actually come.

Then someone reminds you.

They remind you of the conversations we had when these were still just dreams. They remind you of the plans we made when nothing was certain yet. They remind you of how much has changed—and how much has quietly unfolded along the way.

And suddenly, you realize:

Wow. We’re actually getting there.

Not perfectly.
Not without struggles.
But we’re getting there.

We built and grew through seasons of uncertainty—through fuel crises, political challenges, economic pressures, and so much happening both locally and around the world.

There were moments when we questioned things. Moments when we had to adjust, rethink, wait, and keep going even when the road ahead wasn’t clear.

But somehow, we kept moving.

Little by little.

And maybe that’s what makes this journey so meaningful to me.

It was never just about building a business.

It was about building something with people.

People who believed before there was much to show. People who stayed. People who contributed. People who checked in. People who continued to dream with us.

Looking back during my birthday month, I realized that some of the greatest blessings in this journey aren't found in milestones, numbers, or achievements.

They are found in conversations.

In friendships.

In partnerships.

In people who remember the dream with you.

And in the beautiful feeling of realizing that the dreams we once talked about over coffee, calls, and countless conversations are slowly becoming our reality.

There is still a long road ahead.

But today, I want to pause for a moment and simply say:

Thank you.

Thank you to the people who have walked with me, believed with me, challenged me, encouraged me, and quietly showed up along the way.

What a privilege it is to look back and realize that we didn't build this alone.

And what a beautiful feeling it is to know that there are still so many dreams ahead of us—waiting to unfold, one conversation, one step, and one brave decision at a time.
