A Year of Subtle Shifts
The Pause That Changes Everything
I’m beyond thrilled for this year-end—my most awaited break. Finally, a pause that allows me to slow down, reflect, and return to the things I love most: reading more books, listening to my vinyl records, painting, and showing up consistently on my Pilates board and in boxing. These moments of stillness feel intentional, almost sacred. They’ve become just as vital as the work itself.
Stubbornness as Strength
Slowing down brings clarity. And with clarity comes honesty. I know I’m a stubborn woman. I don’t take no for an answer—at least not until I’ve tried every possible way to make things work. Maybe that’s the entrepreneur in me. Settling has never sat well with me. Comfort has never been as enticing as growth. Risk makes me uncomfortable, yes—but not taking it makes me even more uneasy.
A New Dream Emerges
This year, that restlessness led me to a new dream—one that feels aligned in a way I’ve never felt before. A dream that offers freedom, not just for me, but for others as well. It allows me to sustain my passion projects while intentionally preparing my succession plan. What excites me most is how naturally it complements my other dreams, strengthening their impact instead of competing with them. Now, I’m in the phase of slowly, deliberately figuring out how to bring it to life.
“For the first time, clarity and consistency are leading the way—and honestly, they’ve never looked so sexy.”
Taking the Leap
I remember a moment from the past that still stays with me. The mother of a well-known celebrity and model—someone I was fortunate enough to be close to—found out I had resigned from my job to focus fully on my business. She was worried, naturally, but she was also incredibly supportive. She looked for ways to help me, which I deeply appreciated, though I never took advantage of her generosity. She even joked about wanting to adopt me—something that still makes me smile.
That moment reminded me that taking a leap is always scary—but rarely done alone. My gut has never failed me, and it kept telling me this was the right move. Every hardship became a stepping stone. Every challenge pushed me to reflect, to learn, and to ask:
Privacy, Presence, and Balance
As my work became more intentional, so did my life outside of it. I’ve been loving the privacy this season has given me. Time with loved ones, fully present and undistracted, feels like a gift. I remind myself to take more photos—not for social media, which I’ve barely used in years—but for myself, to preserve these moments as personal treasures.
Yet there’s balance to consider. As the face of our brand, visibility is part of the role. I’m learning how to show up with intention while protecting my peace. It’s delicate—but surprisingly, I’m enjoying it.
Embracing the Quiet Self
As I’ve grown older, I’ve become more introverted, and instead of fighting it, I’ve embraced it. This quieter version of me feels grounded, intentional, and aligned. Growth doesn’t always have to be loud. Sometimes, it’s found in clarity, consistency, and the courage to trust your own path.
The River Is Everywhere
Hermann Hesse once wrote, “The river is everywhere.” At first, it seems simple, almost poetic. But the river is more than water flowing through the land—it’s life itself. Life is always moving, never stagnant. Every moment we experience is part of a larger current. The river shapes the land as it moves, carving paths through mountains and valleys, yet it does so gently, persistently, without forcing its way.
Like a river, our journey flows everywhere—in our work, our dreams, our relationships, and in the quiet moments we take for ourselves. The river teaches us to move with life rather than fight it, to embrace change, to be patient, and to trust the process. Even when it twists, turns, or seems blocked, it continues—reminding us that persistence and presence are just as important as speed or control.
“Every setback is a bend in the river; every success, a widening current. The river is everywhere—not just around us, but within us.”
Your Invitation to Flow
So as the year winds down, I invite you to pause and reflect. What bends and currents have shaped your journey? Where is your river leading you?
Embrace the flow, trust your instincts, and dare to take the leaps that feel scary but right. Protect your peace, stay present, and let clarity guide your steps. Because growth doesn’t always have to be loud—sometimes, it’s found in the quiet persistence of your own river.
Your journey is yours to design. Let it flow.
