Spoiled by the Past, Ready for the Future
As I prepare for a role that feels like the perfect next step in my journey — my dream job — I’ve been reflecting on how unique my path has been.
This opportunity isn't just about a title or a paycheck. It's a chance to expand my expertise and bring even more value to the enterprise I’m building. It feels like the kind of growth I’ve been waiting for.
Funny enough, I realized I’ve rarely had to go through formal job interviews in the past. I’ve been fortunate — most of my previous roles came through connections, referrals, or situations where the process was more casual than corporate. The only real “formal” interview experience I remember clearly was when I applied to a multinational company.
That interview turned out to be much more than I expected. What started as a standard conversation stretched into an overtime chat — the kind where you lose track of time because the connection is genuine. That interviewer eventually became my boss, and later, one of my favorite mentors and close friends. Looking back, it reminds me that interviews don’t just assess skills — they spark relationships that shape your path.
Now, as I prepare for this next chapter, I find myself stepping back into that space — the structured interview process — but this time with more intention. I’m not just hoping to get the job; I’m preparing to deserve it.
Growth often means revisiting things we thought we’d moved past — and doing them better, with clearer purpose.
